• About Hollywood Beautification Team

    Working to improve environmental air quality and beautify communities, the HBT operates a tree planting program for residents, schools, and businesses, in addition to conducting workshops on Storm water conservation urban forestry care, and climate change. To support young people in the community, the Hollywood Beautification Team, now known as the Los Angeles Beautification Team, hires and trains youth to teach the next generation about the importance of environmental stewardship.

    Over the course of its 30-year history, LABT has earned numerous awards and recognitions.

    This includes United States Department of Agriculture Certificate of Appreciation for its commitment to urban forestry.

    In 2019 we were a part of the Eagle Rock school family in receiving the U.S. Department of Education-Green Ribbon Award for its partnership with the Eagle Rock E.S. Family.

    Additionally, we have received multiple certifications of recognition from the California State Senate, the State Assembly, Los Angeles County and many accommodations from the Los Angeles City Council offices and all 5 LA mayor s since 1992. Mayor Bradley, Mayor Riordan, Mayor Hahn, Mayor Villaraigosa and Mayor Garcetti for both of our environment work and bringing service to the community.
